2019 A Premiere Production/Elisa Fleener Update
2019 was a slow year but, nonetheless, two very creative jobs were completed. The first was for Vitals Content Strategy and Development department. This was a very unusual but fun project where I got to use my writing skills and develop those skills by learning about the famous writer Ernest Hemingway. Vitals was putting together a conference that was Cuba themed. Ernest Hemingway lived there on and off for 30 years. Since the conference was Cuba themed, they hired a band to play Cuban music, decorated the conference area in Cuban décor and served Cuban food. As part of the entertainment there, I was hired to write Ernest Hemingway styled stories for attendees as a momentum from the conference for the attendee to take home. I was positioned at a table with an old typewriter on it and Cuban cigars. I dressed like I was a Cuban girl and interviewed attendees one at a time. Then from these interviews I wrote up sweet, uplifting stories for them. It was really fun, very different and I loved being hired in this way.
The second project was when I was hired to help develop a children’s show for Northern Lights Originals. The shows name was called the Bybbles. This show was to be hosted by an Alaska Native, Ariel, who would take viewers on Alaskan adventures. There were cartoon characters or Muppets that were to be part of the show. I researched and developed what those characters looked like and their personalities, what some of the segments could be about and the design for segues and graphic development. The audience was 4–6-year-olds who might watch this show on PBS morning. I spent a couple of months researching popular children’s show formats and what children shows on You Tube were getting the most subscribers. and Naples Grand Resort event for Content Strategy and Development Vitals
